BBQ in the forest

Two weeks ago today ............

.....we had a BBQ in the forest (in the rain!)

Whenever we make it back to the UK in the summer we try to have a BBQ in the forest.  

We had our first friends and family BBQ in the same forest 11 years ago to celebrate our wedding.  

It is a wonderful way for everyone to see as many friends as possible (our stay is never long enough to see everyone we want to).  

This year, however, the weather was not kind to us .......... sadly some people could not make it due to the rain :o( ..........  but those of us who were there had a great day despite the good old British summer weather!!!

First there was sunshine.........

......... and then the rain came!!
